Learning objectives
The theoretical and practical course aims at providing the basic knowledge for the identification of osteological faunal remains from archaeological excavations in order to understand the exploitation of animal resources in different chronological and cultural contexts.
Expected learning outcomes
Students attending the course will acquire basic skills for the identification of most animal bones and also for the organization and interpretation of zooarchaeological data.
