Learning objectives
The aim of the esercitazioni (i.e., practical classes added to the course but that do not allow to accrue ECTS), is that students acquire and develop written, oral, interaction and mediation skills, in accordance with levels described by the Common European Framework of Reference for languages. Learning, Teaching, Assessment (CEFR) and its subsequent revisions and updates.
Expected learning outcomes
The expected result in terms of applied competence is the achievement of the level specified for every year for all linguistic-communicative activities: reception (listening and reading), production of written and oral texts, interaction and mediation. The entrance level is detailed in the Prerequisites (none), while the expected goal is detailed in the Syllabus. Students are expected to spend time on self-study to prepare for classes and to review and consolidate work done in class.

Course syllabus
Practical classes will deal with everyday life topics, focusing on the communicative aspect of the language (ability to converse in Russian). They will also develop skills to write under dictation and autonomous written composition. They will propose linguistics exercises about the morphological structures focused in the course of Russian language 1.

Students are divided into groups according to the alphabetical range. The range of each group will be published on Ariel platform at the beginning of the course.

Information for non-attending students:
The program is the same for both attending and non-attending students. Non-attending students are invited to contact the teacher at the beginning of the course.
Prerequisites for admission
None.

Conversation, dictation, written and oral production, exercises on grammatical themes analyzed in the Russian Language 1 course.

Course syllabus
The practical classes concern everyday life topics, focusing on the communicative aspect of the language. They also develop the ability to understand intermediate-level texts and to produce written texts, and offer language exercises on the application of the morphological structures covered by the Russian Language 2 course.
Prerequisites for admission
Practical classes will be taught mainly in Russian. Textbooks and activities in class or for self-study assume that students already have a linguistic competence of level A1.

Conversation, comprehension of intermediate-level texts, written and oral production, exercises on grammatical themes analyzed in the Russian Language 2 course.

Course syllabus
Practical classes will focus on the materials indicated in the bibliography and on the additional materials provided by the practical classes teachers, including also video materials. The practical classes will be aimed at the practical use of the structures covered by the Russian Language 3 course, as well as of the Russian morphology in general. They will develop the conversational skills, the ability to understand written and orale texts (level B1), as well as the automatization of translation skills. Particular attention will be given to the development of students' abilities in written and oral production.
Prerequisites for admission
The practical classes, which are held entirely in Russian, assume an initial level A2 competence.
Teaching methods
Practical classes adopt the following teaching methods: conversation, carrying out of communication tasks, grammatical exercises, comprehension of texts, drafting texts in Russian, work on video materials, translation.
