Territorial Policy and Rural Development

Learning objectives
The course aims to provide tools for the analysis of environmental and territorial development policies, with particular reference to rural areas, in three dimensions (economic, social and environmental). It also deals with the relations among sustainable development policies, with specific reference to the agricultural sector and to rural areas, in Europe and globally.
Expected learning outcomes
It is expected that the student will acquire the capacity to interpret the economic facts, and the interactions among economies, as well as the main development lines of European agricultural policy in relation to the environment and to the international relations.
