Learning objectives
The course aims to provide an adequate basic knowledge for the protection of women's health under a gender perspective. In particular, the course aims to achieve the specific educational objectives of pathophysiology with a preventive, diagnostic and therapeutic profile of: main functional and organic alterations (benign and non-benign) of the female genital apparatus, male and female fertility, procreation, pregnancy, prenatal morbidity, delivery, breastfeeding and puerperium, and menopause.
Expected learning outcomes
At the end of the course, the student must show an adequate theoretical knowledge in the field of the physiopathology of human reproduction, obstetric and gynecological pathology (benign and non-benign). The student must also have acquired basic notions of diagnostics and therapy, in order to allowing: adequate framing of the main obstetric and gynecological problems, applications in the field of obstetric-gynecological first aid and collaboration and differential diagnosis with other medical specialties.
