Learning objectives
The course aims to achieve the communication skills required for the A2 / A2 + level of the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference). The course will provide students with further knowledge of Russian grammar and vocabulary and aims to further develop language skills as speaking, listening, reading and writing.
Expected learning outcomes
By the end of the course students will be able to understand general and detailed information and to communicate in standard speech on a range of everyday situations (interacting with a tourist guide, studying, shopping, transportation, meals), as well as reading and writing simple texts using descriptive language accurately.

The content and the literature will not be modified.
The exams could be modified in relation to sanitary conditions, but all changes will be available in due time.
Course syllabus
The course starts with an in-depth analysis of the morphology and semantics of adjectives and pronouns. The central part of the course is dedicated to the verb, where the particular meanings and uses of the perfect and imperfect aspect and the formation of the аspectual pairs are studied and the knowledge on the formation and use of the imperative is provided. Among the lexicon-grammatical classes of the verb, special attention is devoted to verbs of position and verbs of motion without and with prefixes, including their metaphorical uses. In the lexical field, the lexicon of daily life, study and orientation in space will be expanded.

Assessment methods and Criteria
The written test is preparatory to the final oral exam and consists in the verification of passive skills (bending of nouns and verbs, choice of prefixes, prepositions and conjunctions) and active skills (translation of simple and subordinate sentences from Italian to Russian). The oral exam consists of an interview and a theoretical-practical part concerning morphosyntactic knowledge.
