StaiSano: call for applications to receive a free pair of eyeglasses
OneSight EssilorLuxottica Foundation is one of the sponsors of “StaiSano! Obiettivo Cento Anni”, a joint project developed by the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery and the School of Exercise and Sports Sciences on the occasion of the University's 100th anniversary.
As part of its sponsoring activities, the Foundation has decided to donate 100 pairs of eyeglasses (lenses included) to 100 students who meet the eligibility requirements specified here below. The selected students will have to undergo an eye examination with an optician of the Foundation in order to get their free glasses. Each pair has an estimated market price of 500 euros.
Eye examinations will take place approximately between 16 and 20 December, most likely close to the via Festa del Perdono campus. The exact date and place will be communicated well in advance.
To be eligible to apply, students must:
- be enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master's or single-cycle degree programme of the University of Milan;
- hold a certificate of disability pursuant to Law 104/1992, or a Specific Learning Disorders (SLD) certificate pursuant to Law 170/2010;
- hold a medical certificate issued after 1 November 2024 and attesting to the student's need to wear eyeglasses;
- hold an ISEE University Certificate 2023.
All documents must be emailed to the COSP Disability Services at [email protected], specifying "Domanda di partecipazione call Stai Sano – fornitura occhiali" in the subject line. Applications close on 11 December.
