The Module intends to focus on the EU instruments (Regulations No. 1215/2012, No. 593/2008, No. 864/2007) adopted to foster the creation of an internal area for justice, through the unification of the PIL rules on contracts and torts, focusing in particular on the new challenges presented by digitalisation of commercial and personal relations

Objectives:
The Module aims at enhancing the knowledge of European private international law rules on obligations, focusing in particular on recent case law of the European Court of Justice. In the short term, the Module will offer the opportunity to have a full and updated knowledge of the current issues. In the long term, participants will gain in their knowledge as to the use of EU tools to search for the relevant case law and as to the general framework governing judicial cooperation between the Member States.
