Cardiac Electrophysiology and Electrical Stimulation
2nd level vocational master
A.Y. 2024/2025
Study area
Medicine and Healthcare
Master Coordinator
The Master's programme aims to facilitate student's development of clinical aspects concerning the management of arrythmias, to outline the mechanisms underlying these afflictions and to provide significant cognitive data so that participants can approach the subject from the best possible scientific perspective. The management and treatment of atrial and ventricular arrythmias are a complex part of cardiac electrophysiology and managing them is the prerogative of large hospital complexes since it requires a highly competent team, sophisticated tools and, in specific cases, an hemodynamic support. In ultra-specialised sectors like cardiac electrophysiology and electrical stimulation, the fast-moving developments in terms of physiopathological and therapeutical mechanisms and technology mean that post-specialist training in the sector is absolutely necessary
The programme is open to graduates of the following Master's degrees (Italian Ministerial Decree 270/2004): LM-41 Medicine and Surgery
Students stand to gain from the knowledge they will acquire both at an operational level, in terms of the provision of care within the Italian health service and teaching/research at the University and other entities, and at a health policy level.
