The course is intended for those who already work or wish to work in litigation before the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) and the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR). It provides an overview of the European legal framework and case law, including its institutions, rulings, appeals, argumentative and decision-making techniques and formal and substantive standing requirements. Participants will be given all the theoretical and practical tools to be able to argue a case, orally and in writing, before the CJEU and the ECtHR. The course will also provide some guidelines on how to construe domestic law consistently with European law and the European Convention on Human Rights, and more generally on how to assess the impact of European court rulings on the Italian legal system.
The course will be held in English.
The tuition fee for participants will be euro 516.00 (inclusive of the insurance premium and a euro 16.00 stamp duty).

To be eligible for admission, applicants must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
