Statistical Skills in Biomedical Sciences

Errors in interpreting and reporting results of biomedical experiments are common, largely due to poor statistical training. This course provides students with the theoretical foundations necessary for planning and conducting statistical analyses of biomedical studies. The course also includes practical sessions, where students will analyse real data collected from laboratory experiments and other biomedical studies. The course will be held over 2/3 days in January 2025 at LITA, Segrate. At the end of the course, students will be required to take an evaluation test.
