Provide an overview of the latest findings on forest soils and develop an understanding of sustainable soil management within forest ecosystems.
Teach how to perform soil assessment in the field, from experimental design to sampling techniques.

Apply the acquired knowledge holistically to discuss a case study and design a possible experiment to assess soil health in a forest ecosystem and the potential effects of management practices.
