The hypothesis is to investigate the development in Italy of the twentieth century political subjectivities inspired by the Catholic religious faith, in their variety (not always unitary) and in their chronological development. The aim is to focus on the concept of identity, ecclesial relations, social settlement, the role in the political system, the national sense and the international scenario of these political groups.
