Acquisition of in-depth knowledge on microvascular dynamics in the neurological context, with a focus on pathophysiological mechanisms in neurodegenerative and cerebrovascular diseases.
Development of skills in using advanced experimental models for studying cerebral microcirculation, including in vitro (2D and 3D cell cultures) and in vivo (animal models) systems.
Learning cutting-edge imaging techniques for visualization and analysis of cerebral microcirculation, such as intravital microscopy, optical imaging, and functional magnetic resonance imaging.
Acquisition of competencies in multimodal data analysis, integrating information from genomics, proteomics, and metabolomics studies applied to cerebral microcirculation.
Understanding the principles of translational medicine and developing skills in designing preclinical and clinical studies in the field of cerebrovascular pathologies.
Acquisition of knowledge on current and potential therapeutic strategies targeting cerebral microcirculation, including pharmacological, cellular, and tissue engineering approaches.
