The course introduces students to the principal Economic Growth models. Starting from the Ramsey-Cass-Koopman model, we will move to more complex models of Endogenous Growth (depending on time). The main textbook is Introduction to Modern Economic Growth, Princeton University Press, 2009. The course ends with a focus on log-linearization and Solution of linear expectations models. Extra references will be provided during the course.
Knowledge of Intermediate Macroeconomic Theory and Mathematical Analysis (multivariate calculus and optimization).
