This course aims to provide a broad overview of how biomarkers in translational medicine can be exploited in the setting of cancer management. Lectures will be presented by international renowned scientists pointing out the reliability and future prospects of state-of-the-art biomarkers in clinical practice and how they they are used across different tumor types and in different clinical settings. Particular attention will be paid to providing practical information on the strategies to improve the clinical utility and feasibility of a biomarker-oriented translational approach.
