Goal of this course is to study problems and recent solutions related to supporting users in protecting their data in emerging scenarios, such as digital data markets and online social platforms. The course aims at providing knowledge on problems and solutions for supporting users for the selection of external (e.g., cloud) providers/services for data storage and computation, for the protection and for the specification and enforcement of access control policies in digital data markets, and for private management of data and information in online social platforms.
