This three-year course will provide basic knowledge of imaging and cognitive bases of the major psychiatric illnesses, such as schizophrenic disorders (first year), bipolar disorders (second year) and autism spectrum disorders (third year), with particular regards to brain connectivity and prefrontal and limbic neuropsychological dimensions. Examples will be provided on how neuroimaging multimodal data and cognitivemulti source measures need to be analysed, and how they can be translated into knowledge for assesment of pathophysiology, diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment response of those major psychiatric disorders.
