1) To promote the scientific research attention on the endocrine-metabolic aspects of the aging of the aging-related fragility in order to implement an healthy aging preventing the different fragilities; 2) to analyze the endocrine function of the skeletal tissue and of its relationship with the bone matrix remodeling; 3) to improve the knowledge about OSTEOCALCIN, a molecule of the bone matrix with a number of biologic activities modulating different systems beyond the skeleton; 4) to analyze to potential role of OSTEOCALCIN as biologic and clinical effectors and as a marker in the bone fragility, sarcopenia and glucometabolic dergulation related to aging.
