The course aims at introducing students to main techniques of empirical investigation used by cognitive neuroscientists, including EEG, MEG, evoked potentials, fMRi, TMS, eye-tracking, and other psychophysical read-outs. At the end of the course the students will be able to appreciate both the power and the limitations of these techniques, and to identify their appropriate domain application in light of the specific goals of scientific research.
