The course is an introduction to the methodology of Experimental Economics, which has be-come a major area of empirical research. The main objective of the course is to teach students how experimental methods can be used to inform economic research and practice. Although mostly focused on methodology rather than topics, the course should also provide an introduction to some principles of Behavioral Economics.
Knowledge of Microeconomic Theory and Mathematical analysis (multivariate calculus and optimization)
For first year students - Mandatory for Economics PhD students.
