The course aims to introduce the students to the economic phenomena related to the impact of informational asymmetries, and the basic principal-agent problem. The emphasis is on the modelling approach, its main economic implications and its limitations.
Knowledge of Microeconomic Theory and Mathematical analysis multivariate calculus and optimization.
