Contents and Applications of the Geological Map of Italy

The course aims to provide PhD students and all interested parties with information on the methods of realization and decoding of the geological data present in the CARG database, on the products made and to provide indications for their optimal use. The CARG project consists of a national geological database and opens up growth opportunities for new generations of geologists. A training project aimed at illustrating its meaning, survey methodologies and the opportunities it can offer (from scientific research to sustainable planning) takes on a crucial and widely interesting role, which can be extended to students from other locations and possibly geologists outside academia.
