PIS examines the performative dynamics of identity from an aesthetic point of view, by considering the epistemic conditions, the apparatuses, and the material objects that take part in the processes of subjectivation. The statue as an artifact will be conceived of as a starting point leading the discussion about the processes of embodiment involving humans and artifacts, and the prosthetic capacity of the latters.
