Lead instructor: Paolo Boldi
The aim of the course is to offer students the opportunity to learn the basic and advanced concepts of Computational Intelligence methodologies and their role in Deep Learning and Data Processing. In particular, it offers an in-depth knowledge of Computational techniques (e.g., Fuzzy Systems, Artificial Neural Networks, Neuro-Fuzzy Models and Deep Fuzzy Neural Networks) and to know how to apply them to a wide range of scientific areas (e.g., Signal Processing, Information Retrieval, Decision Support Systems, Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision). The course offers an alternative perspective for data processing, and after successfully completing this course, the student will be able to apply computational intelligence-based methods to a wide range of real world problems.
