Learning objectives
Through the reading and interpretation of epigraphic documents, the course aims to provide a thorough preparation with regard to the antiquities of Rome, with special attention to Roman customs and traditions and aspects of daily life.
Expected learning outcomes
Students will be able to present and discuss different aspects of the Roman world by employing the methods of historical inquiry and with appropriate linguistic tools. They will also acquire the methods and tools necessary for the examination and understanding of Latin inscriptions.
