Public Communication in the History of Institutions

Learning objectives
The course provides the student with the essential tools to understand the evolution of the public communication in the history of institutions as well as the methodology necessary to interpret the issues covered.
Expected learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student will have acquired a general knowledge of evolution of the public communication in the history of institutions, with particular reference to Italian history.
The course will consolidate student's ability to organize their own learning processes, with reference to the content and methods of the lessons and the texts subject to individual study.
The student will also honed his critical and judgmental skills thanks to a direct and continuous meeting with the instructor in the classroom and seminars with field experts.
The discussion around the proposed sources, which will take place from time to time, will be an essential moment of critical reflection and methodological learning.
Students opting not to attend the lessons will be able to deepen their knowledge of main topics through readings with the agreement with the instructor and make use of the educational tools provided by the instructor on Ariel.
