Learning objectives
The primary objective of this course is to provide fundamental knowledge on the techniques and tools used to test and evaluate the security of computer systems, including through simulations of real attacks. The course focuses on providing basic skills to address issues related to the infrastructure of modern software architectures and to develop modern and effective methodologies for monitoring their security posture.
Expected learning outcomes
At the end of the course, the student will be able to evaluate the security of a software infrastructure from the perspectives of design, deployment, and compliance with standards. Additionally, the student will be capable of passively and actively verifying security through activities such as testing, penetration, and monitoring, to name but a few.
