Lifestyle Factors and Health: the Role of Biomarkers

Learning objectives
The main objective of this teaching is to understand the impact of different lifestyles on physical and mental health. The role of biomarkers and approaches based on digital technologies, as innovative strategies for prevention, screening and monitoring, will be evaluated. The aim will be to develop the ability to recognize changes and adaptations to the state of wellbeing, that in order to propose new counseling approaches.
Expected learning outcomes
At the end of the course, the student will have developed a deep understanding of different lifestyles and wellbeing. Furthermore, through the evaluation of specific biomarkers and the knowledge of their meaning, supported using digital approaches, the student will be able to recognize alterations of these states, in pathophysiological conditions or induced by drugs.
