Legal Profiles of the Generation Transition

Learning objectives
The course aims to provide an overview of all the private-law instruments, which are, with varying degrees of intensity, useful for governing the inter-generational transfer of wealth, as well as for ensuring, in the discontinuity of the death of the owner, the maintenance of a high level of production of the assets involved. The analysis will be enriched with hints on tax matters, useful to grasp operationally the concrete relevance of the various legal instruments.
Expected learning outcomes
The student will acquire the skills and tools, including those of terminological nature, for understanding law and case-law. The student will acquire the technical/legal skills useful for managing the legal aspects relating to the inter-generational transfer of wealth.
