Learning objectives
The course is aimed at providing basic knowledge about the history of science in the West, from the 7th century BC. 19th century. The course also aims to provide lexical and conceptual tools suitable for both scientific and popular historical communication.
Expected learning outcomes
At the end of the course, the student will have reached an adequate knowledge of the milestones of History of Science in the West; of philosophy of science; of the relationship between science, technology and society; and the ability to clearly and effectively express concepts belonging to the world of science.
