Learning objectives
Provide the methodological and technical knowledge useful to design, build and manage GIS (Geographical Information Systems). Provide the knowledge and skills to acquire, create, analyze and share geographic data, with particular attention to rural land.
Expected learning outcomes
Ability to design and build GIS. Ability to acquire, create and manage geographic data. Ability to use methodologies and techniques based on GIS technology for rural landscape assessment and planning. Ability to use GIS software for data visualization, analysis and creation of thematic maps, through practical exercises.
