Learning objectives
The course aims to show how to use the essential concepts of economic theory for an appropriate management of the environment and natural resources. The course therefore aims to familiarize students with the principles of sustainable development and sustainability, with the essential elements of economic analysis of the environment and pollution, with the economic evaluation of environmental assets and with the economic fundamentals of heating global and climate change.
Expected learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student will have knowledge regarding the analysis of environmental policies and will be able to critically process the information acquired according to the keys of economic theory and theories on the environmental sustainability of economic systems.
The student will have acquired competence on the fundamentals of economic analysis of environmental problems and on the objectives and instruments of pollution control policies.
