Learning objectives
Practical activities are used, either by clinical rounds and by simulation training., to consolidate technical and soft knowledge and skills developed during frontal lectures. Students are trained specifically for a rapid and clinically meaningful approach to critical patient.
Expected learning outcomes
At the end of the course students are expected to be able to: - Have a clear understanding of priorities when approaching patients under emergency conditions - Use a physiopathological framework for a reasoned diagnostic approach - Target interventions, from life-saving procedures to more structured approaches, for treating critical patients
