Learning objectives
The course aims to offer a broad overview of the cultural reasons behind the historical phenomena of the early-modern age, showing the different approaches and results with respect to social and economic history. In doing so, it also aims to provide an adequate awareness of the methods and purposes of historical research, the ability to critically analyze sources, and a full understanding of the premises and results of the historical debate.

The course aims to raise students' awareness of the cultural dimension of historical phenomena and conditionings about our perception of reality.
Skills:
Know how to critically read texts with reference to sources and acquire the contents of these sources; know how to expose topics in an orderly fashion and with appropriate Language.
