Learning objectives
The objective of the course is to analyze the technologies, models, operating principles, and main protocols underlying computer networks. Additionally, it aims to analyze the main protocols (including application protocols and related services) of the TCP/IP network and present some distributed programming techniques.
Expected learning outcomes
At the end of the course, the student shall learn technologies, models, operating principles, and main protocols (including application protocols) underlying computer networks. Furthermore, through laboratory activities, the student shall acquire, on one hand, the ability to manage and configure a TCP/IP network and, on the other hand, the ability to develop the client and server of a distributed application.
