Basi anatomofisiologiche delle funzioni neuro e psicomotorie
A.Y. 2025/2026
Learning objectives
- Knowledge of the morphological characteristics of the systems, apparatuses, organs, tissues of the human organism, as well as their main morpho-functional correlates
- Knowledge of the functional characteristics of the organs of the human body, their dynamic integration into apparatus and the general control mechanisms.
- Knowledge of the functional characteristics of the organs of the human body, their dynamic integration into apparatus and the general control mechanisms.
Expected learning outcomes
At the end of the course, the student must demonstrate an adequate knowledge of the fundamental morphological and structural aspects of the human organism and of the macroscopic and microscopic characteristics of the organs, with particular attention to the locomotor apparatus and the nervous system. The student must also demonstrate an adequate understanding of the mechanisms that underpin cellular excitability for neurons and muscle cells, as well as for sensory, motor and superior cognitive functions. This knowledge will pave the way to understand the pathophysiological mechanisms behind neuromotor and cognitive disorders, which are of specific interest for the practice of the TNPEE professionals. Overall, the course should provide the student with the basis for a critical reasoning and correlate the knowledge of human morphology and physiology to the topics that will be developed by the clinical and rehabilitation area courses planned during the following years of the Degree Course in TNPEE.
