Learning objectives
The teacher must bring the student to:
- learn liminal and supraliminal tonal audiometry, static and dynamic stabilometry test, neurological ABR, acoustic otoemission, peep-show test (infant audiometry).
- Learn the basics of the physiology of the auditory and labyrinthine apparatus;
- Learn the scientific basis of alterations in auditory and vestibular function and rehabilitative methodology;
- Use the instrumental methods to perform an otoscopic evaluation; acquire liminal and superliminal audiometry methods;
- Acquire children's behavioral audiometry methods;
- Acquire the impedenzometric survey methods;
- To acquire the methods of oto neurological investigation for the diagnosis of pathologies of the equilibrium system;
- Learn the basics of recording bioelectrical phenomena;
- Know and use the techniques of electrophysiological investigation of the auditory and vestibular system;
- Know the basics of acoustic and phonometric measurements; know how to plan and carry out a screening study in childhood and adulthood;
