Advanced Methods in Organic Synthesis

Learning objectives
The aim of the course is to provide the fundamental basis forunderstanding some important reactions in advanced synthetic organicchemistry, which lead to the formation of carbon-carbon bonds throughthe use of reagents or catalysts containing transition metals (copper,palladium, nickel, ruthenium, tungsten) or p-block elements (boron,silicon, tin).
Expected learning outcomes
Lo studente sara' in grado di scegliere le reazioni più adeguate per la sintesi di particolari classi di sostanze organiche, identificando tra le possibili vie di sintesi quella pia' efficiente, utilizzando le tecniche più innovative.
