Learning objectives
Objectives of the training internship are:
Apply the theoretical elements learned during the classroom lessons in the fundamental areas of teaching of the course of study, namely:
advanced professional area
research in health systems
training and education
management of prevention health services
in carrying out specific projects in which the student must have an active / proactive / critical role.
Develop transversal skills in writing a technical scientific text
Develop transversal skills in the oral presentation of one's work, supported by an electronic presentation.
Expected learning outcomes
Ability to proactively and correctly interact with prevention professionals who act as internship tutors
Ability to apply knowledge and understanding in the fundamental areas of the course of study during the project
Ability to produce a technical scientific text written with an appropriate standard during the preparation of the exam
Ability to present and discuss their work, also with the support of an electronic presentation, during the course of the exam

Course syllabus and organization

Course syllabus
The traineeship will be carried out in structures that deal with prevention in the public or private sector and that have entered into an agreement with the university. The internship program will be declined according to the specific projects and structures where these will take place. The areas of the internship will be the fundamental ones of the course of study, namely:
- advanced professional area
- research in health systems
- training and education
- management of prevention health services
In carrying out the internship project, the student will be asked to develop transversal relationship skills with the colleagues of the host structures, to play an active / proactive / critical role in the internship project, to write a technical-scientific text as the final report of the internship, as well as to develop communication and argumentative skills to present and defend one's work during the exam.
Prerequisites for admission
There are no admission prerequisites
Teaching methods
It is expected that a support relationship will be established between the tutor and the trainee. In this relationship, the trainee will be involved in the traineeship project and will be stimulated to take on an autonomous and proactive role; it will also be guided in the preparation of the report and the internship presentation.
The president of the course of studies, assisted by professionals in prevention sciences, will supervise the internship activities so that they can offer the student the expected quality level.

Assessment methods and Criteria
The exam will consist of the preparation of an internship report on the activities carried out and its illustration to the teachers during the exam.
