The course aims to achieve the following learning objectives:
- Acquiring an in-depth understanding of the fundamental principles and theoretical paradigms of the psychology of communication and their application in healthcare.
- Understanding the individual, contextual, and socio-cultural factors that may influence communication and the construction of the care relationship.
- Understanding the processes contributing to ineffective communication and conflict at interpersonal, group, and team levels.
- Learning techniques and intervention models to comprehend others' perspectives and foster effective communication with patients and other professionals engaged in the care pathway.
