Learning objectives
The aim of the course is to allow the student to acquire and apply the knowledge concerning the multiple interactions between different physiological systems aimed at the control of complex functions and the maintenance of body homeostasis.
Expected learning outcomes
At the end of the course the students will be able to recognize the role played by the different systems in the integrated responses of the body. This knowledge will be applied to the understanding of the mechanisms involved in the control of physical exercise, the regulation of metabolism, feeding behavior and reproduction.
