Pediatrics (clinical skills)

The course has the objective to give students the ability to collect patinet's medical history, with particular focus on the peciuliarities of the different age groups, to perform a complete clinical examination of newborns, infants, children and adolescents, including measurement of viatl signs, anthopometric measurements, evaluate pubertal stage. The course has the objective to give tha student the ability to critically evaluate results of blood examinations and imaging. The student acquires the relational abilities that are needed when speaking with parents.

Students should be able to formulate simple diagnostic hypothesis.
