Learning objectives
The course is aimed at developing knowledge about the educational relationship specificities, the epistemological foundations of pedagogical research and the analysis of educational and social phenomena.
Expected learning outcomes
At the end of the course, the student must:
· understand the epistemological foundations of pedagogical research in the social field
· be able to analyze educational experiences in relation to different social phenomena
· be able to observe emerging trends in both pedagogical theory and practice
· understand and manage the pedagogical setting by identifying the intentional object

Prerequisites for admission
There are no prerequisites.
Teaching methods
Lectures, exercises and classroom discussions, group work, testimonials through videos.
Educational emergencies are tackled using the form of laboratory analysis.
The Ariel platform contains the documents presented in the lectures that also constitute the study lecture.
Students are also required to critically read some articles and to expose them to colleagues in the style of adult education.

Assessment methods and Criteria
Oral exam, divided into three phases:
· exposure of a topic of your choice in which the student must show to handle the chosen topic, triangulating the texts assigned for the exam, the contents explored in the course and his personal points of view. It will be required during the interview both to argue what is returned and to exemplify it.
· analysis of a case produced by the student himself starting from his own internship experience and described based on a grid offered and elaborated during the course
· free questions from the teacher on any of the exam texts
