Learning objectives
Learn the retrieval of peripheral venous accesses useful for carrying out contrastographic examinations.
Expected learning outcomes
-Prepare the materials and equipment necessary for venipuncture
- guarantee the safety in the preparation of the tubes for blood chemistry tests
- adopt the precautions for own safety and that of the assisted person (eg use personal protection devices, patient identification, label the tubes before taking the sample ..)
- apply the venipuncture procedure on dummy.

Teaching methods
The course is divided into a series of lectures with slide shows in Power Point. The lectures slides are uploaded to the Ariel website.
Furthermore, simulation exercises, group work, and expert-led discussions will be carried out, films will be screened and clinical cases will be examined.

Assessment methods and Criteria
The final assessment will consist of a written test aimed to ascertain the preparation of the student. The test will result in a judgment of "approved" or "not approved".
