Methodologies and Experimental Models for Therapy with Hormones
A.Y. 2024/2025
Learning objectives
The course aims to provide the student with the basic knowledge of the main biochemical and molecular biology methodologies and of cellular and animal models for the study of endocrine pathophysiology, hormones and signaling pathways, and how to apply them in different contexts relevant to the course.
Expected learning outcomes
Students in the program will have to demonstrate the acquisition of knowledge of the methods and models presented during the course and how to apply this knowledge in different biological contexts. Students will have to demonstrate to be able to design experiments aimed at investigating the role of hormones and their signaling pathways, and to comment and interpret the results.
