Learning objectives
To be able to observe the different contexts of the community related to daily life, work and
institutions;
To be able to identify the bio-socio-environmental and historical-cultural aspects of the community also
through the use of interview and questionnaire techniques;
To be able to identify, on the basis of epidemiological and socio-cultural data, the biological and social factors of risk present in a town or city decentralization;
Elaborate, relate and expose the collected elements
To be able to perform and document a research study on the territory and / or community;
To be able to make a reading and an interpretation of the need expressed and submerged through the technique of individual, couple, family and group interviews;
To be able to implement family support operations and participate in therapy programs for
the family;
To be able to design and implement interventions aimed at solving problems by activating individual, group and network resources also in collaboration with other health and social operators educational and primary care physicians;
To be able to monitor and supervise hygienic-sanitary conditions and infectious risk in families, schools, assisted communities;
To be able to participate in a health promotion and education project that includes analysis
of the request, the definition of the objectives, the planning, implementation and evaluation of the results;
To be able to autonomously formulate a project for prevention, promotion and health education, evaluating the type of need, defining the training objectives and indicating the
program and intervention methodology;
To be able to prepare a program for the protection of health in the workplace;
To be able to conduct health education interventions;
To be able to use psycho-pedagogical methods in situations of mental and physical discomfort;
To be able to participate in projects to improve the quality of services, particularly
referring to health promotion and citizens' access to services;
To be able to evaluate and report on citizens' participation requests;
To be able to express organizational and inter-professional connection skills;
To be able to work in multidisciplinary and multi-professional teams.
Expected learning outcomes
Plan, implement and evaluate prevention interventions, health promotion, health education for the individual and the community by applying specific tools and methodologies for all stages of the process (from need analysis to rating).

- The interview as a tool for reading and interpreting the expressed and submerged need;
- Methods and techniques of individual, couple, family and group interviews;
- Methodologies and techniques for managing interventions aimed at solving problems by activating individual, group and network resources;
- Rationale and methodologies of surveillance and surveillance on hygienic-sanitary conditions and infectious risk in communities (families, schools, assisted communities);
- Vaccination as a public health tool;
- Methodologies and techniques for the management of health promotion and education projects (from the analysis of the need to the evaluation of the results;
- Risk prevention in health and socio-health activities.

Seminar activities, role playing, workshops, PBL (Problem Based Learning) groups, debriefing, experiential activities on the job

Assessment methods and Criteria
The examination consists of a written test, a practical test and an oral.
