Learning objectives
Practical application of knowledge acquired during teaching, laboratory and field activities.
Expected learning outcomes
The LM 48 student will have acquired one or more of the following skills: - knowledge of the development and management of information systems for the analysis and management of the territory; - ability to analyse, monitor and evaluate territorial and environmental issues; - knowledge of the management and evaluation procedures of territorial planning acts and related complex programmes; - ability to draft planning instruments and related implementation devices.
The LM 80 student will have acquired skills in the production of - cognitive frameworks and landscape reports; - traditional cartographic representations and in GIS environment; - monitoring of landscape context transformations; - mapping of possible issues linked to unsustainable transformations of the territory; - activities for the recognition of landscape quality and for the identification of prescriptions for the use of landscape assets.

Fundamentals of geography and planning disciplines
Teaching methods
The internship activities will follow teaching methodologies specific to the different disciplines (from geography to planning) following a 'learning by doing' approach. Materials will be provided that illustrate theoretical concepts underlying the practical internship activities (lectures). This will be followed by practical activities guided initially by the contact person (internal and/or external) and then carried out independently by the student.
Teaching Resources
For each activity, useful teaching materials will be provided (e.g. bibliography, cartography).

Students will submit a report of the activities carried out which will be judged by the internal contact person (approved)
