Learning objectives
The course aims to further explore certain aspects and social and cultural dynamics of today's Latin America, focusing on some problematic historical and geopolitical issues. Various texts and audio-visual materials will be used to help students improve their critical reflection and independent thinking skills.
Expected learning outcomes
Students will develop a critical understanding of a diverse range of literary and non-literary texts, and be able to analyse their cultural and linguistic implications. Having acquired independent learning skills, students will be fully equipped to start their own research work for the final paper.
