Prerequisites for admission
Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pharmacology is required.
Assessment methods and Criteria
The exam consists of two parts: a first part written with multiple choice questions and a second oral part.
The total number of questions for the written part is 60 (12 per subject) and the time available is 60 minutes.
The second part is oral and is carried out randomly on one of the 5 course teachings (ophthalmology, dentistry, otolaryngology, audiology, maxillofacial surgery)

- Principles of acoustics
- Subjective and objective audiometry (puretone evaluation, speech audiometry, principles of acoustic imminttance, tympanometry and the acoustic reflex, otoacoustic emissions, auditory evoked potentials)
- Conductive and sensorineural hearing loss.
- Outer ear disorders
- Middle ear disorders (otosclerosis, otitis)
- Cochlear and retrocochlear disorders (sudden deafness, acoustic trauma, acoustic neuroma)
- Hearing loss in children
- Hearing loss in the elderly
- Vertigo and balance disorders: principles of assessment and treatment.
