Geology
A.Y. 2024/2025
Learning objectives
class aims at preparing the student to investigate an assigned area, studying the literature, and finding an open problem to approach. The student is asked to define the geologic background and open questions and address them by geological mapping at 1:10000 scale, about 10 days. During the field survey, the student is asked to add new data to the existing database (CARG) to address the raised problem.
The student is asked to report a geologic map together with a report that explicitly answers the question on which the fieldwork was focused on.
